What A Girl Wants - Ayala Center Cebu

23:11

When WAGW-ACC was commissioned to me some time in the middle of 2012, the pressure was on to deliver a hip, modern, yet girly retail outlet that would go with the stylish, trendy and fashionable items in the store.  After a fews months of brainstorming, drawing, approving and several emails back and forth between owner, suppliers, contractors and Ayala Center Cebu, WAGW-ACC was successfully launched on Dec. 10, 2012.

The Storefront Facade

The patented "G" logo of WAGW on the ceiling

The Column Detail: a structural column right smack on center of the store is clad in planks of wood in grey wash finish with cove lighting above.  Dainty wrought iron brackets in matte black support the white shelves on each side of the column.

The counter is made of white solflex (synthetic stone) on the top and on one side only.  The facade is lined with grey washed planks of wood with a 1/2" gap for proper ventilation for the POS and other electronic equipments below.  A white brick wall on one side serves as a functional display for all the required government certificates in gilded frames.  Decorative pendant lamps above are made of cast iron in matte black finish and painted gold inside.
