HL Designs was incredibly excited for May 7, 2015. It was not just our very first mall event, but it was also our first time to take part in the ever glamorous Make Your Own Havaianas (MYOH) 2015!
With 10 years of MYOH celebration in Cebu, this popular flip-flop brand commissioned us to transform SM City Cebu Northwing into a little Hawaiian island complete with beach chairs, floral scarves, sunhats, white sand, and the ukulele. Most of all, it’s not Hawaiian without the vintage bike, the yellow Volkswagen Beetle and, of course, the Hawaiian collection of Havaianas.
With only a month to do it, our team was very engaged in conceptualizing, designing, sourcing, coordinating and literally weaving things together.
And at last, after pulling on an all-nighter the day before the event, we were ready to say Aloha!
